| The meeting will be led by WTC International Business Committee Chair, Michael Olivier with special guest speakers to discuss strategies for exporting successfully and preparing for changes in trade policy. Michael Olivier, Chairman, WTC International Business Committee; CEO, Louisiana Committee of 100 Michael Olivier is the CEO of the Louisiana Committee of 100 for Economic Development, Inc. Olivier most recently served as Regional President for the Americas for Future Pipe Industries, Inc. where he was responsible for the management and growth of the Group’s operations in the Americas region from North to South America. Mr. Olivier served as Secretary of Louisiana Economic Development to Governor Kathleen Babineaux Blanco from 2004 to 2008. Knud Berthelsen, CEO, Connect + Trade Knud Berthelsen is an online and international strategy & marketing expert and CEO of Connect + Trade, an online and international strategy & marketing company that offers services through A2A Anyone to Anyone Marketing, American Export Assistance, and American Import Assistance. Berthelsen also teaches international strategy & marketing with focus on China and India in the MBA, Professional MBA, and Master of Management programs at Tulane University’s A.B. Freeman School of Business. Everett Wakai, Commercial Officer, U.S. Commercial Service Everett Wakai is a Commercial Officer at the U.S. Commercial Service New Orleans Office where he works to assist U.S. companies export their products, technologies and services. Prior to joining the New Orleans office, he was the Standards Attaché for South America and Commercial Officer for the transportation, renewable energy, smart grid, ICT and health care industry portfolios at the U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Consulate General in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He worked with U.S. and Brazilian trade associations and standards development organizations as well as the BrazilianGovernment to foster greater bilateral trade and economic integration. |
